Cardi B reveals she's pregnant with baby no 2 at BET Awards 2021, fans say 'timing's impeccable'

SURPRISE, SURPRISE!! Cardi B and Offset are set to welcome a new member to their family announcing that she is expecting her second child with the musician. She captioned the photo as, “#2 [heart emoji] @offsettyrn.” The rapper wore a blinged-out, one-piece outfit with a mesh cutout showing off her pregnant belly during her performance.

The rapper revealed her pregnancy while onstage with her husband and his group Migos during their performance at the ongoing 2021 BET Awards. A few moments later, she also uploaded a photo on her official social media accounts in which she can be seen posing naked while holding her baby bump. “Cardi B and Offset, giving us life - literally,” host Taraji P. Henson joked after the news broke.

This is the second time that the rapper has used live television to confirm that she is expecting a child. In 2018, while making an appearance on 'Saturday Night Live', she made a formal appearance with her baby bump. Born on July 10, 2018, Kulture is now almost three years of age. The ‘WAP’ hitmaker and Offset officially exchanged their vows in September 2017.

Some of her close celebrity friends congratulated her on the special occasion. ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star Khloe Kardashian wrote “Congratulations” on the rapper’s photo on the image-sharing platform.

Meanwhile, fans went absolutely berserk after the announcement and flooded social media with congratulatory messages and warm wishes. One of the fans wrote, “oh god, congratulations Cardi and Offset, I’m so happy my god, great health.” Another user stated, “Congratulations queen!! I love you so much.” However, one of the fans noticed her absence from social media for some time and noted that she knew a similar kind of announcement was going to come really soon. She wrote, “I knew it!! You weren’t showing yourself as much on social media. I was waiting for an announcement. Congratulations!!”

“Wow!! The timing was impeccable,” another one added. “Congrats to @imcardib and her family on baby #2 on the way. So happy for you! You are an amazingly beautiful woman and mother,” said another user. One user noticed, “OMG, I’m cracked. Looking beautiful queen.” On the other hand, another user said, “Omfg you look so stunning.”

It is worth mentioning that Cardi B has been nominated for five BET Awards, including best female hip hop artist and video of the year (for both ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’).
