Cardi B has given fans a sneak peek into the music video for her song with Megan Thee Stallion, 'WAP', which releases on August 7. Featuring a water fountain sculpture of the two rappers donning the same look seen in the teaser photo shared previously, as well as some high-quality visuals which include a golden snake and a mansion bathed in pastel colors, the video is already setting some very high expectations.

Despite the team-up between two of the biggest rap artists of modern times, not everyone is here for this drop. The teaser video drew some hate, largely directed at Cardi, with one Twitter user stating, "Literally no one wants this. Someone delete her files." Others, despite sharing the sentiment, couldn't help but note that the teaser looked pretty good. One user said, "I hate that this is serving so far chile. I hope she tanks," and another shared, "This looks incredible I hate to say it."

Much of the hate appears to stem from Cardi's anti-fans, who just so happen to be fans of Nicki Minaj, a fact that Cardi's fans seem to find rather amusing, especially in light of those who couldn't help but commend the song's beat and the video's visuals even amidst their hate. One fan stated, "All the barbs want it to tank so bad after I heard that beat shit they gonna be mad asf."

Many of these users thought the teaser looked a whole lot like Minaj's 'TUSA' featuring Karol G and the similarities made some fans rather cross. One stated, "This is literally TUSA but uglier." Others didn't mind quite so much, tweeting, "Giving very much Tusa but the girls are coming." And some, despite their initial hesitance, are now excited for the official drop, with one user sharing, "NOT THIS BEING A SERVE SO FAR OMG."

Fans were soon hyping the teaser up. One tweet read, "Smash hit is coming," another fan said, "LOOK AT THE BUDGET, THE TALENT, THE SKILL, COMING TO EATTT," and one stated, "THE VISUALS, whos doing this??? nobody is seeing HER."

One Cardi fan took a shot at Minaj, tweeting, "One thing about @iamcardib they ALWAYS come through with visuals, I wish Nicki could do the same, she literally had the most money and is the most legendary but still making videos that look like 2013." Another tweet read, "Her visuals are always good omg why she eating the girls like that Nicki I’m sorry." And some fans took far more direct shots at Minaj, specifically her more recent appearance in the 'Trollz' video with Tekashi 6ix9ine which included a scene of the rapper in an inflatable pool. One tweet read, "A budget while others shake their a** in Kiddy pool every video."

But others were less interested in beefs and wars, instead preferring to support the two women on 'WAP'. One tweet read, "Powerful Women collabing is what we like." And several are all ready to sacrifice sleep so they can catch the video as soon as it drops, with one fan stating, "Might have to stay up til midnight. My god."
