Cardi B's ‘Hot S**t': Rapper's music video trolled for low budget, splits fans
Cardi B off late was surrounded by the controversies of her apparently hitting a fan with a microphone during her set at Wireless Festival. Seemingly, unfazed from the trolls the rapper dropped a stunning music video of her new single ‘Hot S**t’ on Tuesday, July 12 that also features Lil Durk and Kanye West on the vocals.
The music video of the ‘WAP’ hitmaker’s latest banger quickly created a buzz amongst hip-hop lovers as they rushed to Twitter to speak about the same. While a few loved the visuals others wondered if the video for ‘Hot S**t’ was shot with a low budget as it came with a lot of green screens. Cardi B, who enjoys a massive 137 million fan following on Instagram, too shared the clip with the intention to promote it.

Cardi B drops visuals for ‘Hot S**t’
Cardi B’s music video for ‘Hot S**t’ was helmed by Lado Kvataniya and it came two weeks after she had dropped the audio on leading streaming platforms. In the music video, Cardi can be seen standing atop a skyscraper as she raps, “Now this that hot **t/ Jimmy Snuka off the top rope/ Supa fly s**t/ Might get in the tub with all my ice on some ‘Pac s**t/ Either way you slice it/ Bottom line, I’m the top bi**h/ New Chanel, I rock it/ Twist and it ain’t even out yet/ All this jewelry at the grocery store/ I’m obnoxious.”
Lil Durk and Kanye West too make their appearances count in the music video. The former can be seen rapping atop a water-logged car in a post-disaster city flood zone, whereas, Kanye West steps in with his face covered as he spits alongside a futuristic motorcycle. For the unversed, Cardi B had earlier dropped a hint that a music video for ‘Hot S**t might not release due to a few issues with her record label. At the time of the song’s audio release, Cardi B on Twitter Spaces spoke about her song revealing, “I think this record is actually older than ‘WAP’ adding, “It is everyone’s favorite. I love the record. It’s something that I feel like y’all haven’t heard from me before. I feel like people is expecting a lot of slutiness and blah blah blah. Y’all keep talkin’ I keep making TikTok records and this is definitely not that. It’s a fun great record. It’s masculine, it’s great for the clubs, it’s great for the bit**es”, as reported by Complex.
