The much-awaited premiere of 'Card Sharks' Season 2 is finally here and fans can't stop talking about the show. The popular card-based game show has managed to pique the interest of fans with its unique show format and, of course, the host Joel McHale's impressive hosting skills. McHale kept fans entertained with his cheeky humor and enthusiasm.

His funny commentary after asking the questions and the fun banter with the contestants made for a great watch. The first episode featured contestants Rhea and Evan competing against each other for a chance at winning half a million dollars! Rhea surprised everybody by playing the tricky card game with ease. 'Card Sharks' features two players who compete against each other with the goal of reaching the grand prize-winning deck. Each player has to decide if they want to proceed to the next level, with the risk of either losing everything or winning big. The players can finally decide whether they want to go home with the cash prize they won or continue betting in the next round with a chance of winning more cash prize.

ABC describes the show as, "Hosted by Joel McHale, Card Sharks is a suspenseful game, where a fortune can be won on the turn of a single playing card! The road to glory and riches begins with two players facing off in a head-to-head elimination race where the winning player claims a $10,000 cash prize and a chance to turn that amount into a life-changing payday. The anticipation builds as the winning contestant risks their prize in predicting seven final cards. The results are revealed with the flip of their seventh and final card."

McHale previously said that he was "excited" to host the hit game show. He said, "I’m very excited to be hosting ‘Card Sharks’. Game winners can win 10s of thousands of dollars and in an updated twist — losers will be fed to a pen of adult Tiger Sharks.” Although none of the contestants were fed to Tiger Sharks, fans definitely appreciated his sass. A fan tweeted, "#CardSharks is a very good remake. Joel McHale is a good game show host. Who knew? Now only if they did Match Game justice. DAMMIT." "Joel is actually good with this format. Snarking works here. #CardSharks," praised another fan. "#CardSharks Jim Perry is smiling down from heaven watching his first show come back to life. And loving @joelmchale as host. Ace is high, deuce is low, call it right and win the dough on...Card Sharks @cardsharksabc #CardSharks," expressed a fan.
