'L title change'

Some fans have expressed their disappointment at the new title because they feel it is Marvel's attempt at depicting representation. One user commented, "I’m sorry but Brave new world is a trash a** title, hopefully the movie is good cause I liked Falcon and the Winter Soldier but IDK a lot of movies are gonna be rushed in the writers strike era."

Another user commented, "L title change." A third user commented, "Brave New World sounds corny af." A fourth user commented, "Bruh that’s the best you could come up with…? Now it sounds like the name of a children’s movie."

'New title sounds like a Pixar Movie'

Many fans drew comparisons of the new title with that of Disney's musicals and other animated films. A user commented, "Can’t wait for the title to change to Captain America: A Whole New World", referring to the song 'A Whole New World' from Disney's 'Alladin'.

One user tweeted, "New title sounds like a pixar movie." Another Twitter user compared it to 'The Litte Mermaid' and said, "I dunno, brave new world sounds like a Little Mermaid sequel."

'Thank god they changed the name'

While some fans were disappointed and trolled the new title, there were a bunch of others who were excited about the name change and wondered if the name was a reference to a famous dystopian book or a comic book series released back in 2017. One user commented, "THANK GOD THEY CHANGED THE NAME." Another fan theorized, 'For those who are wondering about the new title. Brave New World is the title of the Secret Empire series of comics from 2017. Not sure if this means they are adapting the exact story line from it but it’s possible we could see elements of it involved'. Another twitter user queried if the new title was a reference to a book and said, 'Love the Aldous Huxley reference in the title! LFG Cap!"

Another user welcomed the change and commented, "Captain america brave new world huh, a surprising change yet a welcome one." Another fan showered love and commented, "Actually i love that title better than the first one."

'Captain America: Brave New World' is set to release on May 3, 2024.
