Camille Vasquez would like Eva Longoria to play her in a movie, fans say they 'look like cousins'

Camille Vasquez has an idea of who she would like to play her character in a movie or tv series, if one is ever made. In her first one-on-one televised interview with Access Hollywood's Mario Lopez, Vasquez, the star of Johnny Depp's legal team, said that Eva Longoria would be an excellent fit to play her part.

During the relaxed, candid conversation, Lopez asked Vasquez which actress would she prefer to play her character if she ever had her own movie. The recently promoted lawyer laughed and said that she would much rather that casting directors make that decision.

"I think I should leave that to the casting directors, they get paid a lot of money to do that," said Vasquez. However, Vasquez later voiced her preference for the hypothetical casting and revealed she would like some Latina actress like Salma Hayek or Eva Longoria to play her character. She added that she is often told she does share some resemblance to the 'Desperate Housewives' star Longoria.

"I don’t know, some wonderful Latina actress that... Salma Hayek or Eva Longoria. There been some people who have said I look a little bit like that," said Vasquez. The host then revealed that Longoria is his friend and also a 'sweetheart' and that he could get her to line up to take on Vasquez's role. 

Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez won hearts across the globe during his defamation trial with Amber Heard and has continued to maintain her popularity on social media platforms. The attorney soon became an internet sensation and garnered a massive following of her own. She was also offered to become a partner at her law firm.

Quotes like 'Camille Vasquez for President' and 'Camille is my lawyer' were being printed on merchandise items. Moreover, Discovery+ is all set to star the attorney in an upcoming docuseries about the defamation trial of Depp and Heard. Besides Vasquez, the doc will also feature Depp's other attorney Ben Chew. 

Vasquez appeared solo in her interview with Access Hollywood. After she voiced her preference for Longoria to play her, netizens took to social media and shared their opinions.
