Camila Cabello spotted leaving Shawn Mendes' NYC apartment after dinner date amid rekindled romance rumors
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were spotted on a romantic dinner date in New York City this week. The ‘Treat You Better’ singer was spotted with the Cuban-born celebrity before heading to a restaurant in Manhattan.
In line with their fashion sense, the hot and heavy couple both donned blue jeans, which Mendes paired with a matching fleece and white trainers, while his lady love completed her look with a black t-shirt and matching leather jacket.

Never a fashion miss
Mendes, holding his phone, held one hand up to his face while keeping his head down as the paparazzi shot away. Cabello, 26, didn't appear to mind all the attention when they met for dinner or when they returned to his house for goodbye.
The ‘Worth It’ actress wore her fashionable leather coat, but with temperatures in the low 50s Fahrenheit as a low for the day, she also removed it to display her traditional black t-shirt. Her bell-bottom style pants were wide enough to hide her stunning black open-toe heels, and she had a brown and black pocketbook over her right arm. To top off her appearance, the singer-songwriter tied her long raven hair back into a ponytail while leaving her bangs hanging around the frame of her face with a center part.
An unavoidable love affair
Later that evening, the ‘Senorita’ singers were seen saying their goodnights at the entrance of his Manhattan residence. Camila then took off in an Uber. The pair parted in 2021 after two years of dating, leaving many of their admirers disappointed. However, sparks began to fly between the two again this April when they met at the Coachella Festival in California, which featured a passionate kiss or two.
They've been photographed out on a number of outings since then, including holding hands in Venice, California, and a night out at the Hollywood Improv earlier this month. Each time, the photographs revealed their unavoidable connection to each other.
Since picking up the pace of their romance and going public in the summer of 2019, they accelerated things when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The couple then eventually moved in together, and reportedly adopted a puppy too. Insiders claim that they never actually stopped chatting following their separation in November 2021, citing the puppy as an explanation.
