LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Caitlyn Jenner went after "big government left-wing liberals" for using the trans community to "break down the family unit." The former Olympian, who is a member of the community herself, made the remarks while announcing her new PAC, Fairness First, which focuses on "parental rights" and keeping "boys out of women's sports."

Jenner, who raised eyebrows with her comments about controversial trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney's brand partnerships with Nike and Bud Light, insisted that "state laws" were needed to "ultimately govern our schools at a state level." It's worth noting that the 73-year-old ex-husband of Kris Jenner is a registered Republican and notably made an unsuccessful run for California governor in 2021.

'Family unit is under assault'

In a conversation with Breitbart about the Fairness First PAC initiative, Jenner said "state laws" were required to "provide state-level guidance to their local school boards, from a legislative perspective, to govern who can compete in what leagues." She told the outlet that a key issue was biological males participating in female sports. "Our advocacy is to align athletes with sports that are at a chromosomal or DNA level — not birth certificate," Jenner continued. "Which has been extremely visible in sports, is an effort to break down the family unit." She insisted that "the family unit" was "under assault and looking to be replaced by teachers."

'Stop the radical rainbow mafia'

Jenner also went after the "radical rainbow mafia" in a more direct attack. “Fortunately, our exposure with having me as a spokesperson and founding member but being a Fox News contributor has led to elected officials from school boards, the state level, and the federal level, to work on policy issues and advocate for our recommendations," she said. "We will work on this from a policy standpoint but advocate for these issues resulting in supporting candidates from the top of the ballot to the bottom,” Jenner added. “Additionally, we have events and grassroots partnerships in the works to show up to school board meetings, state capitols to testify, LGBT people to testify in congress, to stop the radical rainbow mafia.”

Parental rights

Jenner was asked if trans rights would be a tipping point issue for conservatives. "I think this actually comes down to parental rights," she replied. "Big government left-wing liberals are all about destroying the family unit, at any cost. That means government gets to take the place of the parents and the families." While the outspoken conservative admitted that "trans is not made up or fake," she claimed the community was "oversaturated due to indoctrination and is the latest way the left is destroying the family unit." The former reality star assessed that "we won’t see the true impact" of minors transitioning "for years to come." While few athletes can match the legacy of Jenner, who won the Olympic gold, she wants to be remembered for using her platform to protect others.

“I hope my legacy is one that is responsible, not a victim, and uses my platform gained in 1976 to advocate for those that need protection," Jenner told Breitbart. "I know sports, and I know the difference between men and women, and the issue of trans. I believe, while Hollywood and the entertainment complex of today see this as unfashionable now, I will be on the right side of history,” she concluded.
