Busta Rhymes ‘Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God’: Release date, concept, tracklist and all you need to know about rap icon’s 10th album

Busta Rhymes, who is considered as one of the greatest rappers ever by fans, is all set to drop his brand new album after a gap of eight years. The American hip-hop legend’s new project is called ‘Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God’ also stylized as ‘ELE2: The Wrath Of God’. The 48-year-old record producer took to his official Twitter account to reveal the release date and the album cover.

The acclaimed hip-hop icon tweeted, “THE PROPHECY WILL BE FULFILLED... 10.30.20 #ELE2THEWRATHOFGOD” along with the album cover. The rapper had first announced his album in August 2020 with a teaser trailer featuring comedian Chris Rock on the micro-blogging site. The tweet read, “Friendly reminder courtesy of @chrisrock and the good folks of THE CONGLOMERATE ENT. IT’S OFFICIAL EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT 2: THE WRATH OF GOD. SOON COME!! Stay tuned!!! Directed by #Samlecca”

Release date and Concept

‘Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God’ is slated for an October 30 release. Rhymes shared the cover art of the album which features a mid-shot of a skull wearing black and white attire with an eerie mask on its face. We can also spot ‘ELE’ written on the forehead of the skull referring to the name of the album.

The rapper also shared a teaser clip on his official Twitter account and captioned it as, “ASH WEDNESDAY. THE PROPHECY WILL BE FULFILLED... 10.30.20 #ELE2THEWRATHOFGOD.” 



 

Tracklist

Busta Rhymes has not released the official tracklist of the album yet. The ‘Fire It Up’ hitmaker had recently dropped two songs called ‘YUUUU’ featuring Anderson .Paak and ‘The Don & The Boss’ featuring Vybz Kartel which are a part of the album.
