'Bulletproof' Season 2 is officially past the halfway mark and the show is dropping another international episode. After the adventure in Amsterdam and the gunrunning story at home, Aaron Bishop (Noel Clarke) and Ronnie Pike (Ashley Walters) are headed for Cyprus, the homeland of the Markides crime family.

It's going to be another exciting episode set in an exotic locale but there's a lot more danger now than ever before. At the end of the last episode, Mikey Markides (Ben Tavassoli) turned against Bishop and he's tasked his mother Eleanor Markides (Gina Bellman) with doing a background check on the undercover cop. Bishop's cover had come close to being blown earlier when Brandon (Leeshon Alexander) confronted him about it but the boys were saved when Brandon was taken out by a hitman. They're unlikely to have similar luck with Eleanor so chances are that their covers are about to be blown for good this time.

In other words, the boys are going to be in a lot of trouble and being in Cyprus, they won't be able to get any help against the Markides family. So far, Alex Markides (Stavros Zalmas) has been extremely nice to Bishop and Pike but if the truth comes out, he would be the first one to try and kill them.

Unfortunately, the Markideses practically run Cyprus and it's going to be impossible for the boys to get out of the country with their lives if their covers are blown. Fans can expect a particularly action-packed episode this week and there's no telling how things might go down.

However, as high as the risks may be, the possible rewards are also pretty sweet. Bishop and Pike are searching for a lead in Cyprus who could help them put the Markideses away for good and the synopsis does tease that they will find an unlikely ally.

Here's the official synopsis for Episode 5: "Bishop and Pike search for a lead in Cyprus and find an ally in the unlikeliest of places, but things go from bad to worse in a hurry."

'Bulletproof' Season 2 airs new episodes in the US on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET, only on The CW.
