Some congratulated them saying, "Congratulations  @BTS_twt for winning MTV Hottest Summer Superstar 2020!"

Soon fans started comparing the huge gap between the top 10 ranks and said, "they really took social distancing seriously huh." Another user commented "Another level of social distancing."

Some expressed their love saying, "Yassss Legends!!! Awesomeness! I'm so proud of you guys! Thank you a gazillion times over for bringing the fun and saving me from 2020 sadness! Love you all." Another fan said, "THE GAAAAAAP IS 30 MILLIONS  ARMY STREAM BECAUSE IT'S WEEKEND AND THE STREAMS ALWAYS DECREASE WE WON'T LOSE OUR SPOT"

One proud fan commented, "BTS is the first group to win it more than once since One Direction!!! Bangtan is really amazing. #KCAMexico #ARMY #OnBTS #BTS @BTS_twt"

Some happy fans commented on their victory on the Reddit page, saying, "Wow and by a landslide too! Interesting that another K-pop group, Blackpink, came in second. Really nice to see more people embracing Korean (or even just non-english language) music! ETA: and I'm sure DYNAMITE will help us pull in more from the audience that only listens to English language music." Another complimented the band and said, "It was a twitter vote so no surprise since the army owns that app. Lol we literally just added the tags to every single tweet. Taylor and Gaga have huge fanbases but I don't think they congregate on Twitter the way army do? Like there's a good number of them, but nowhere near what BTS brings." Suprised by the huge gap, another user said, "Never ever have I been more confused when reading numbers, my brain said "whut?"

BTS previously set the YouTube record for 'Dynamite' with the highest number of views in the first 24 hours of release. The song was watched over 100 million times in 24 hours after its release. This record was previously held by another K-Pop band, Blackpink. Its song, 'How You Like That', scored 86.3 million views in 24 hours in June. Currently, Dynamite has 248,818,089 views on Youtube.

Last year, BTS won the title with 19,709,352 votes, beating Lady Gaga, who came second with 12,757,156 votes. Blackpink came in third with 3,894,590 votes, while Ariana Grande and Cardi B followed at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
