When Ellis Miah, an American of Bangladeshi and Caribbean descent signed his first production deal at the age of 11, he never imagined he would be writing, producing and remixing hits for artists like Jennifer Lopez, Sia, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Big Freedia, Annie Lennox, Loleatta Holloway, Yoko Ono and Siedah Garrett, among many others. And now, he can add BTS to his extensive discography!

Miah has joined forces with BTS for their upcoming album 'Map of the Soul: 7', serving as a co-writer on the track 'Inner Child'.

Working on international projects, especially ones like BTS' 'Map of the Soul: 7', an album that has gone far beyond what anyone would expect from a release of this nature, makes perfect sense given how Miah's career has grown till now.

And BTS choosing Miah to work on this project should come as no surprise either! Miah's talent for combining pop, soul, hip-hop, and dance as well as his skills in a variety of areas including songwriting, producing, composing and singing has taken the artist's career to levels he could have never imagined - from landing on the Billboard charts 22 times to touring internationally, to being a sought after host and DJ, and even stepping out in front of the camera and microphone as an actor and a public speaker.

Miah has also served as a judge, guest speaker, and panelist at music events for Billboard Magazine, Musicians Institute, Winter Music Conference and RuPaul’s DragCon. And speaking of RuPaul - Miah also wrote and produced a majority of the songs on RuPaul’s holiday album, “Slay Belles,” which was later voted Best Christmas Album by Entertainment Weekly. Following that, Miah was enlisted by Gay Star News for correspondence assignments and live broadcasts as well as video segments for their website.
