BTS is the gift that keeps on giving!

Already starting the year with two new tracks 'Black Swan' and Suga's solo 'Shadow', the launch of their global art project 'Connect, BTS', and their brief cameo as part of Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' performance at the Grammys, one would think the boys would slow down for a breather.

Not quite! During their Grammy red carpet interview, the boys confirmed that they will collaborate with Lauv once again for his new album 'How I'm Feeling', which comes out in March. The album is set to feature a wide range of artists besides BTS, including Troye Sivan, LANY, Anne-Marie, Alessia Cara, and Sofia Reyes.

Speaking about the collaboration in an interview with Billboard, BTS leader RM said, “actually, we did one with Lauv and it’s gonna be released in March, and it’s really great. I heard it, and it’s really great.” The two acts have previously collaborated on a remix of the song 'Make It Right', the original version being a collaboration BTS did with Ed Sheeran.

Fans have been elated since the announcement was made, and took to Twitter to share their excitement. Some highlighted the importance of the collaboration, considering BTS are huge fans of Lauv. One user said, "NO CAUSE I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN. LAUV AND BTS RLY BECAME FRIENDS. FRIENDS!!!! WITH COLLABS AND ALL... OGs YOU KNOW WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT."

Further cementing their friendship, Lauv dropped by the studio of BTS' iHeartRadio LIVE to say a quick hello.

Not all fans are happy, however, as some found the previous collaboration underwhelming, saying they weren't sure the styles and voices blended together just right. Nonetheless, the song was an ode to the ARMYs and did well despite some fans not enjoying it quite as much.

On that note, we must all wait patiently for the new BTSxLauv collaboration to come out! In the meantime, BTS will perform their new single 'Black Swan' for the first time live on The Late Late Show with James Corden on January 28, and their new album 'Map of the Soul: 7' comes out on February 21.
