BTS x ColourPop collab: How to buy the BT21 makeup collection as fans say 'gift this to me'
Following the success of BTS’ self-designed merch and collaborations with the likes of McDonald’s and Nordstorm, more brands are teaming up with the global K-pop group to create custom collections for ARMY (BTS’ fandom). BTS is no stranger to makeup and fashion as well as they had teamed up with VT Cosmetics, Amorepacific, The Creme Shop, and Mediheal. Their latest collab now happens to be with ColourPop for their BT21 range.
The Californian-based makeup brand ColourPop is teaming up with BTS to create a BT21-themed collection. And the range has a little something for everyone from those who like bright and fantastical makeup to subtle but chic products for those who want to elevate their everyday look. The range includes matte as well as frosted shades along with pressed glitter to glam up for a night out. Well, here’s everything we know about the BTS X ColourPop collection.

What is BT21?
For baby ARMY who are yet to learn about BT21, it is a group of animated characters that were created by BTS personally back in 2017. They teamed up with the messaging app LINE to create avatars that can be sent as stickers before branching out and including the designs in BTS-themed merch. Jin created RJ, RM created Koya, Suga created Shooky, J-hope created Mang, V created Tata, Jimin created Chimmy and Jungkook created Cooky. They also designed other characters as pets and friends of their avatars. The BT21 designs have been used in collaborations with other brands in the past like Dunkin’ Donuts, Monopoly, Converse, Facebook, Hello Kitty, TikTok, and more.
Fans were excited as they made tweets like, “Can someone gift this to me...my b'day is on 14 july and I'M BROKE.” Another ARMY posted, “I just hope that thier website can handle all of us.”
One fan hoped, “I hope that if it runs out they will release more like colourpop did with the sailor moon collab. Cause a big fandom cant be left with people wanting their items only to run out and thats it no re-releas.”
