BTS and Ariana Grande were both in attendance at the 62nd Grammy Awards this year.

Prior to gracing the red carpet, the two surprised fans in a picture uploaded to Grande's Instagram taken during the pre-Grammy rehearsals. The image led to #WhereIsYoongi becoming a trending search across social media after fans noticed the BTS member missing from the photo.

While on the red carpet at the Grammys, BTS spoke about the moment with leader RM saying "She was practicing next to our studio and she said she wanted to see our rehearsals. We saw hers and she saw ours, that’s how it happened."

This isn't the first interaction BTS have had with Grande. Member Jungkook and Grande were seen together last year in an image uploaded to the latter's Instagram, where she thanked him for attending her concert, saying "screaming. 🖤 thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm,". Jungkook tweeted about the experience saying "I felt and learned a lot after seeing her stage. I am really challenged by her stage and will try harder!"

RM also said, "We always want to collaborate with Ariana, she’s the one right now and she’s the best...Please collaborate with us, Ari!"

Since they began interacting, fans have been eagerly awaiting a collaboration. Member Taehyung also said Grande was an artiste he wanted to collaborate with while the group was at iHeart on January 28. Several BTS fan accounts tweeted about the potential collaboration and some noticed Ariana liked a tweet about it adding fuel to the speculation of a team-up.

Responding to a video of RM mentioning her on the red carpet, Ariana tweeted "honestly...... i was able to watch them rehearse for something and it was the most incredible thing i’ve ever seen. i’m not kidding. i was screaming. i couldn’t stop talking about it / still can’t."

BTS is appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden in a few hours and will be performing their latest single 'Black Swan' live for the first time. Fans have been treated to an art film for the song featuring performers from the MN Dance Company but are yet to see BTS perform the track, and now that Grande has tweeted about it, the ARMY's excitement has gone through the roof!
