Bruce Willis's representatives have quashed speculations about the actor giving permission to deep fake his likeness in future projects. It has been a tumultuous year for the 'Die Hard' star who retired from acting following the diagnosis of aphasia and has featured in a string of average VoD flicks.

In a THR report, Willis' team denied the news. "Although reports stated that this made Willis the first Hollywood personality to set up this type of deal, his team denies the existence of any such arrangement." It also added that it “has no partnership or agreement with this Deepcake company.”

Earlier, his family thanked fans for their support after Willis announced his decision to retire. "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support," they wrote. "We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, 'Live it up' and together we plan to do just that."

His wife Emma Heming Willis took to Instagram earlier this month to share a heart-warming video with the caption "Their talent is speaking for itself. I’ll just leave this here. #Jamsession." The video showed Bruce adorning a plaid shirt with jeans and sneakers. He was seen sitting at the bottom of a staircase playing his harmonica while his friend Thomas strummed the guitar and handled vocals. The actor had announced his retirement from acting following an aphasia diagnosis.

His relatives include wife Emma, ex-wife Demi Moore, 59, and five daughters Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, Tallulah, 28, Mabel Ray, 10, and Evelyn, eight. Willis currently has three movies in the works that have wrapped filming, meaning fans can expect to see him sign off with a bang. Whether he decides to make cameos in the future remains to be seen.
