'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 7 Premiere: New office badass Chuck Boyle is in a leather jacket and fans rejoice

It all begins in the second episode where Charles wants to create the best first impression on their incoming new Captain

Out of the many gifts the new Season 7 of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' gave us with its two-episode long premiere, fans seem to have really be drawn by the unmistakable new office badass of the 99th precinct - detective Chuck Boyle.

It all begins in the second episode where the Nine-Nine is getting their new captain - a replacement for the newly demoted ex-captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher). While the best detective-slash-genius Jake Peralta's (Andy Samberg) loyalties lie with his Captain dad, Holt, the rest of the team is gearing up to make their best impression of the incoming captain. So Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) pulls it to the highest notch and ends up coming to work in a leather jacket.

Turns out, he is the cool office badass now. While trying to impress their new boss who - as they soon find out - is the first Asian-American female captain in the NYPD. But for Charles, making the first impression is extremely important so he decides to borrow a jacket from Rosa of all people, and yes, Jake asks the question we have all been thinking - Rosa's jacket fit Charles? Who would've thought!

But fans are beyond thrilled with this, as they took to Twitter noting how all that's missing is a cowboy hat for Chuck Boyle. One user wrote: "The first two episodes of Season 7 of #Brooklyn99 were cheesing awesome! My favorite moment was clearly the debut of Chuck...cause @JoeLoTruglio as Charles is my literal spirit animal and my favorite character!" Another wrote: "I loved #CharlesBoyle with the leather jacket as #Chuck. Such a badass!!!" And even though the stint was short-lived, some of them tweeted to the official network, writing: "hi please bring back cool Charles a.k.a. chuck thanks!"
