Andrew Buchan splits with wife 'Emmerdale' star Amy Nuttall, moves in with 'Better' co-star Leila Farzad
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: 'Broadchurch' actor Andrew Buchan has reportedly left his wife, actress Amy Nuttall for his new love interest, Leila Farzad. Farzad and Buchan met at the sets of their new BBC series 'Better,' and eventually fell in love. Nuttall and Buchan also have a son together.
Farzad, who is educated from the prestigious Oxford University and has played roles in 'Law & Order: UK', 'Man Down,' 'This Time With Alan Partridge and I Hate Suzie' this series infact brought a BAFTA TV nomination to the actress. Farzad is married to her husband James since October 2013 and also have a daughter, Allegra Noor Maizels, who was born in October 2014, as per Express UK.

“It was a huge shock.Amy is heartbroken, " said an insider to The Sun. "For Andrew to walk away from his family was a huge shock to us all – and Amy is heartbroken. Everyone who knows them thought they were going to be together forever. But he’s packed his bags and left with his new co-star. Whatever has gone on, it seems to have been enough for him to re-evaluate his whole life and rip up their marriage. Nobody is quite sure of the exact details, but Andrew has clearly had his head turned pretty dramatically,” the source also revealed. “It’s hard for Amy to take anyway, but the fact that they are in a drama together on BBC One every week at the moment just rubs salt in the wounds even more. She’s doing her best to keep going and power through with a brave face, but it’s not been easy at all,” a close friend stated.
When did Andrew Buchan and Amy Nuttall get married?
Buchan and Nuttall got to know each other in 2007. The duo got married in September 8, 2012 and welcomed their son in 2015. Nuttall was also popular with her affair with one of 'Emmerdale' co-stars Ben Freeman which lasted almost four years, as per Leeds Live. Nuttall also had a great career in acting with the popular roles including Chloe Atkinson in 'Emmerdale' and housemaid Ethel Parks in 'Downton Abbey.' The duo met at the sets of their series, 'Better,' aired on BBC where she portrayed the role of DCI Lou Slack. She is also best known for playing Naomi Jones in Sky Atlantic comedy-drama 'I Hate Suzie,' acting along with Billie Piper. After getting the role in BBC series, she said, “I never dared to dream that my name would be first on a cast list - I just wanted to be employed. So, to have that privilege is incredible, but comes with its own pressure that you do the role and the writing justice, because you’re carrying quite a lot of it on your shoulders," as per The Independent.
