LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears is looking back on funny 'SNL' times when she talked about her appearance and lip-syncing. Just days after her husband, Sam Asghari, was spotted in Los Angeles, the 'Toxic' singer shared a throwback to her 'SNL' skit addressing claims that she lip-syncs and has fake breasts.

Over the years, Spears has been accused of lip-syncing. The 41-year-old singer responded to claims in the past that she lip-synced by claiming that it "really pisses me off" and that people didn't think she sings live, reports ET Online. The singer's mother, Lynne reportedly approved of her getting breast implants when she was a teenager. However, a friend claimed that after having surgery, "she regretted the implants, particularly because her chest was still growing."

What does Britney say in SNL skit?

Britney begins her monologue by saying, "Now that I'm here, it's a perfect place to clear up some crazy crazy rumors I keep hearing about myself. Like that, I can't perform without lip-syncing. Okay, which is not true." The singer went on to say that she had some "backup singers doing the harmony" when she played at the Grammy Awards, which wasn't on tape.

Then, Britney talks about the rumors about her fake breasts. She said, "Oh, there's one more. The one about my boobs being fake. That is just ridiculous!" while her 'fake boobs' could be seen jiggling in the particular skit. "I mean, c'mon!" the 'Oops!…I Did It Again' star went on to explain, "I'm 18 and I'm still growing."

Britney Spears on lip-syncing accusations

When footage from a concert in Tokyo showed Spears' microphone accidentally getting tangled in her hair, accusations were raised that she was lip-syncing live, Rolling Stone reports. Her voice could still be heard as she struggled to untangle the microphone. But as Spears explained in her interview, she uses a repeat track to keep the flow going smoothly during her intense performances. Since the start of her Las Vegas residency in 2014, the combination of live vocals and playback has been a staple of her concerts.

Teen Britney got breast after go ahead from mom Lynne

Britney's mother, Lynne, approved of her getting breast implants when she was a teenager, reports Huffington Post. Yet after having surgery, "she regretted the implants, particularly because her chest was still growing," a friend claimed. "When her natural breasts became larger, she had the implants removed." Spears, however, chose to conceal the surgery. "When other girls did their boobs [they admitted it] and moved on, but Britney was brought up to lie about herself," the friend added.

What's going on in Britney Spears' life?

After experiencing a mental health crisis, mom-of-two Spears was put under a tight conservatorship in 2008. Her father Jamie took charge of her financial and medical care at that time. In September 2021, Jamie Spears, 70, was removed from his daughter's conservatorship after receiving a great deal of criticism. It was later terminated as a result of a campaign from her horde of admirers in the "Free Britney" movement, as per Page Six.
