Britney Spears has been busy constructing her ideal new life. The 'Toxic' diva purchased a gorgeous property to enhance her bliss after her surprise June 9 wedding to actor and model Sam Asghari.

According to a source close to TMZ, the pop star has paid $11.8 million for her new property and has already moved out of her Thousand Oaks home. The 12,000-square-foot estate is adjacent to her ex-husband Kevin Federline's home, where her boys Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15 also live, according to the outlet. The move comes after it was revealed that Britney and Asghari had signed a prenuptial agreement to protect Britney's assets.

The property lies on 1.6 acres of land in the posh Calabasas, which is home to fellow newlyweds Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian. Britney and Asghari were looking for a "forever home" together in March, so the news isn't surprising. "Britney wants to move in the spring," an insider told HollywoodLife at the time. "She's looking for a place that she will be able to make into her forever home."

The insider added, "She has lived in super mansions and has woken up to views that others could only dream of. She knows she can build or buy anything she wanted, really. She has the money. But Britney doesn't want a brand-new state-of-the-art modern mansion." Britney, according to the insider, wanted something that she could modify for her own and her family's needs. They went on to say, "She wants a fixer-upper project home where she can plant flower beds and grow vegetables. She wants a home where she can have horses and a place where her dogs can run."

The new investment is only the beginning of a long-awaited opportunity to recover her life. Spears was finally freed from a 13-year conservatorship in November, which had her father, Jamie Spears, in charge of her life and finances. She proposed to longtime boyfriend Asghari in September, and the couple married last week at her Thousand Oaks estate in an extravagant, star-studded ceremony.

Spears' decision comes after her ex-husband Jason Alexender broke into her house and attempted to interrupt her wedding, which he weirdly live-streamed on Instagram. "Where's Britney?" Alexender yelled during the live recording before ascending the stairs and entering the chambers. He was then stopped by a man who said, "You have to leave!" to which he responded by screaming and recording, "Where is Britney? Tell me the truth!" He then claimed, "I'm Jason Alexander, first husband. I'm here to crash the wedding because nobody is here except Sam. Where the f*** is the family? So here's the inside scoop of the b******* wedding," before stating, "She's my first and only wife."

Spears and Asghari got a temporary restraining order after Alexender was detained. According to sources, the 40-year-old, who was married to the 'Womanizer' singer for only 55 hours in 2004, is currently in jail after being charged with trespassing and refusing to leave the property, violence, and destruction. His bond is set at $22,500.
