Britney Spears recently posted a photo on Instagram with what appeared to be a straightforward review of the movie 'Big Eyes' by her favorite director, Tim Burton. But ever since details of her controlling conservatorship became public knowledge, her fans have transformed into eagle-eyed sleuths, poring over her latest updates to see if there are any hidden messages or clues that the singer might be trying to subtly reveal on social media. And this time fans are convinced that she is talking about breaking free of her current situation and is looking to reclaim her life.

Britney's conservatorship currently runs until August 22, 2020, as ordered by Judge Brenda Penny. On July 22, Britney did not turn up for a court hearing that would review her conservatorship, with her camp citing "technical difficulties" as the reason for her no-show.

The singer was placed under conservatorship aka guardianship care back in 2008 after a series of erratic episodes, with her father James aka Jamie Spears overseeing details of her estate, financial assets, medical health and other business deals. As people started pointing out on a fan site, "During the 12 years of Spears' conservatorship she has repeatedly toured the world, released multiple albums, and worked on a variety of television shows," all while she was being supervised by her father and other caretakers. According to the details of the arrangements, "her conservators decide whether or not she works, as she cannot enter into contracts for herself because she is legally not her own person. Britney Spears needs permission from her conservators to leave her house or spend any of her own money." Britney now has a longtime care manager named Jodi Montgomery after her father relinquished some of his conservatorship responsibilities in September 2019. Recently, fans also started speculating whether it was Britney's dad running her Instagram account since a lot of the photos she was posting appeared to be old photos.

In her latest Instagram post, Britney seemed to be drawing parallels between the plot of the movie 'Big Eyes' and her own life. The singer had posted a photo of herself with the caption "I watched the movie Big Eyes the other day by of course my favorite director in the whole world @timburton !!! It’s about a fragile yet adorable eccentric woman who has problems with men yet she’s an extraordinary artist who paints children with big eyes 👀👀👀 !!!  She obviously paints them for the love of her daughter … the troubled man she is seeing loves the fame and handles it better so he takes all her glory and says it’s him doing all the work ... in the end she gets fed up and reclaims her art proving it is her that is indeed the artist 🎨👩‍🎨⭐️ !!! She leaves him never to remarry and takes care of her daughter 💕👯‍♀️ !!!! It was very weird the same day I watched this movie I did a mini photoshoot and look how freaking big my eyes were 👁👁 !!! I mean … my eyes have never been that big !!! It’s actually kinda crazy and they aren’t retouched at all … coincidence maybe ???  If the power of what you see and hear can influence your life THAT much … I mean literally stay away from bad people and raise your awareness with high energy people ✨🌸🌟 !!! That’s what I learned from this … and watch Big Eyes while you’re at it !!!"

Naturally, some fans felt she was talking about herself and her relationship with her father. One fan claimed, "She is talking about herself people, wake up." One follower noted, "There’s some hidden message I swear about the man and the children." Another fan said, "Like how your father is taking all your fame and money and glory and freedom and claiming it as his own."

Other fans latched on to the line "In the end she gets fed up and reclaims her art proving it is her that is indeed the artist" and one supporter asked "Britney are you foreshadowing? I feel like you’re foreshadowing." Another admirer said, "If this ain’t her saying someone is stealing her credit and kids and she wants to take them back then I don’t know what is." As one fan concluded, "We all just out here waiting for Britney to reclaim her art and her life 😭💓."

As Bryan Spears, Britney's own brother pointed out last month: "She's always wanted to get out of it. It's very frustrating to have," he said. "Whether someone's coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating. She's wanted to get out of it for quite some time."

We'll have to keep an eye on Britney's latest posts to see if there's some truth to these claims.
