'She was rarely there': Brian Austin Green slams ex Vanessa Marcil’s claims of raising son Kassius alone
MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Brian Austin Green has hit back at his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil’s claims that she raised their 20-year-old son, Kassius, by herself. In a Q&A session organized by Marcil on her Instagram Story, the 54-year-old actress answered a fan's question about co-parenting with the 49-year-old actor. "We didn't & don't co-parent," the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actress wrote. Green shared a screenshot of her response to his Instagram Story along with a fiery response on Thursday, February 23.
“So, I can’t tell you all how frustrating it is to read continued lies from a 50+-year-old woman on social media like she is still in high school,” said Green. “She has never in her life been someone to walk the walk,” he continued. “Talk is cheap,” he added. Green, who has a 7-month-old son with girlfriend Sharna Burgess and three children with ex-wife Megan Fox, said he and the 'Transformers' actress significantly contributed to Kassius' upbringing throughout their ten years of marriage.

“Megan and I bust our a**es to give Kass a well-rounded childhood since his mom was rarely there,” he wrote. “I’m assuming that’s why she posts so much of him now. When will she just GO AWAY,” he added.
Not the first time
This is not the first time they involved in a social media feud. In the most recent incident, the 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' actor attacked Marcil on Instagram for purportedly saying that he “spent years taking her to court and asking for child support.” Then he posted a screenshot of what seemed to be a court document, which listed him as the respondent and Marcil as the petitioner. In October 2022, Green remarked, "#factsisfacts." “#thetruthshallsetyoufree.” Marcil accused her ex of "cutting out" Kassius from his life in 2018 as well, reported Page Six.
“12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father & his stepmother trying to get full custody (that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support,” she claimed at the time. Marcil noted that Green and Fox “lost that case.”
Green about co-parenting
In an interview with 'E!' last October, Green discussed co-parenting with Megan Fox. "We co-parent really well together," he shared. "And we don't fight over time with the kids. We try and alternate holidays between Christmas Day, Christmas Eve." "But we're open to things changing," the California native added. "I'm very aware of—and so is she—that our schedules are insane. So when we do get time, cherish it. It's an amazing thing, and we support the other parent having time," she added.
