Noting how the video, where he was twerking to the country's national anthem, was offensive, Rock had then apologized on Twitter immediately, writing to a fan, "Thank you so much for understanding, I can promise you it will never happen again, I take full responsibility, and I truly am so sorry." Rock immediately deleted the video of his twerking which he had posted on Instagram.
Although Rock has posted on YouTube about his boyfriend doing his makeup, he is yet to reveal the name and face of the mystery man. The two had met at a mall where Rock had spotted his man riding the escalator and found him cute. The said boyfriend had apparently come up to him with a photo request for his sisters, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Making it very clear that he would never reveal his boyfriend's identity, Rock said in a video, "By the way you guys, I know some of you guys are m*********ing wanting to know who he is, and stuff like that, but let me tell you, social media is not the m*********ing way because he really doesn’t have any social media. He doesn’t care for social media which I f***ing love… and I always tell him this is a part of me this is my job… you aren’t dating Bretman Rock, you’re dating Bretman." His boyfriend had agreed with him and said, “As much as a great following as you have, I just feel like the internet can sometimes be not the nicest place to be around.”
