Brendan Fraser's son Holden, 18, looks like young Elvis as he channels inner rockstar in rare photos
NEW YORK, NEW YORK CITY: Brendan Fraser’s middle son, Holden, looked like a young Elvis Presley as he channeled his inner rockstar in a rare social media post. The 18-year-old handsome hunk took to his Instagram on Monday, March 21 to share a slew of stunning black-and-white pictures in a leather jacket.
Holden was a portrait of charm and glitz in the classy jacket, which he layered with a matching black shirt. He also sported a pair of black slim-fit jeans and styled his mid-length dark hair like Elvis Presley used to do in his prime. Holden’s rockstar look was accessorized with a couple of silver chains and rings. "Back in black 📸” he captioned the photos, shot by Mark Veltman. The post soon attracted immense social media attention, with users claiming that he should have played Elvis in the biopic rather than Austin Butler.

'You should have auditioned'
“You totally look like Elvis. I saw it the second I saw you on the red carpet” said one user. “You should have played Elvis,” a second user said while the third wrote, “You could give Austin Butler a run for his money. Wow. You really should have auditioned for Elvis.” Another user said, “Totally Elvis. I feel cute aggression towards you I want to squeesh!!!” The post came after Holden attended the Oscars with his brother, Leland, and father Fraser, who took home the best actor award for his performance in ‘The Whale’.
Brendon Fraser’s love for his sons
The 54-year-old ‘Mummy’ star shares Holden and Leland with ex-wife Afton Smith, whom he was married to for nine years before filing for divorce in 2007. Fraser and Smith share another 20-year-old son, Griffin Arthur, who suffers from autism spectrum disorder. During his acceptance speech at the Oscars, Fraser thanked everyone and gave a special tribute to Griffin. He said with a smile, "Griffin, love you, buddy." Previously, he told Interview Magazine, "I have three kids of my own, my oldest son Griffin has special needs - he's autistic. He just turned 20, he's a big kid, he's six foot five, he's got big hands and feet, a big body. I understand intimately what it is to be close to a person who lives with obesity."
Fraser never shies away from talking about his unconditional love for his three young sons. In February 2023, he spoke about a rare appearance: he apparently visited Holden's film studies class. "They'd all gone out to see The Whale, and they're whipsmart kids," he told Willie Geist of Sunday TODAY, according to People. "They understand the craft of filmmaking in a way that's so impressive." Fraser admitted that it was gratifying to see that his children were now starting to appreciate the effort that went into making his movies because, when they were younger, they weren't interested in their dad's movies because they had nothing to do with "Power Rangers."
