In an interview with FanSided, the actor opened up about his coma in 2014, "I survived and it makes it a good life. But as for doing all the stunts and stuff, as long as I’m not banging the back of my head I’m fine. But that to me, that’s the fun part of the job, and you know, there’s a way to do it safely. Sometimes when you fight you do get hurt a bit, but it’s fun, it’s fine. It certainly woke me up to the fact that you think more about doing some dangerous stuff."
