If you are a fan of NBC's 'Blindspot', you might be in love with the character Kurt Weller portrayed by Sullivan Stapleton. In a shocking turn of events, Weller's name appears mysteriously tattooed on Jane Doe's body. The series of mysteries unfold when he starts to find out about Jane Doe. As fans watch the show, they can't stop wondering who the actor really is.

Born in Melbourne, Stapleton joined an acting and modeling class when he was eight years old. His younger brother Joshua Stapleton also forayed into acting in his early childhood. Stapleton has been working in the industry for a decade now and has garnered international recognition for his role in 'Animal Kingdom' in 2010.

In an interview with FanSided, when asked about the finale season of 'Blindspot', the actor said, "I’m just grateful that I went from a great show [Strike Back] to another great show. We did 100 episodes. We got to finish off the show as we wanted to. We were able to wrap things up; the show wasn’t canceled and just disappeared. But I got to live in New York for five years and I got to work with great people. I can’t be more thankful. I’m really looking forward to where the next chapter takes me."

As fans wait for the season finale, here are the top five things we think you should know about Sullivan Stapleton:

Entry into TV and films

Stapleton started his career in 1994 with the Australian TV movie 'Baby bath Massacre' as Adrian. He then appeared in 'Blue Heelers' in 1995. Later, he appeared in multiple TV shows and movies like 'Neighbours' and 'The Condemned'. He made an International breakthrough through 'Animal Kingdom' which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The film even won the Grand Jury Prize.

Family of actors

The actor is said to be genetically blessed for his amazing acting skills. His sister, Jacinta is also an actor. Both of them joined the same acting and modeling school together. His brother, Joshua Stapleton is also an actor, who started acting at a fairly young age.

Formally trained in acting

The actor has honed his craft through years of dedicated practice. He did his graduation from St Martin's Theater in Melbourne and then studied drama and theater at Sandringham Secondary College.

His career nearly cost him his life

While filming 'Strike Back' in Thailand, he fell off a tuk-tuk and struck his head. The actor went into a coma after the incident. In an interview with FanSided, the actor opened up about his coma in 2014, "I survived and it makes it a good life. But as for doing all the stunts and stuff, as long as I’m not banging the back of my head I’m fine. But that to me, that’s the fun part of the job, and you know, there’s a way to do it safely. Sometimes when you fight you do get hurt a bit, but it’s fun, it’s fine. It certainly woke me up to the fact that you think more about doing some dangerous stuff."

Net Worth

Current estimates have Stapleton's personal wealth at $3 million.
