TISHOMINGO, OKLAHOMA: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani recently unleashed their inner adventure freaks as they enjoyed mushroom hunting in a wooded area near their Oklahoma ranch. The ‘Sweet Escape’ singer, 53, took to her Instagram on Monday, April 24 to share a video of the pair, both decked out in camo, searching for nutty fungi with their dog, Betty.

"Come morel mushroom hunting with us 🍄🍄," Stefani wrote in the caption. Set to their song 'Happy Anywhere', the video starts with Shelton saying, "You better Instagram this" as Stefani rushes up to him to see what made him excited. "Tell me what happened," Stefani says and her husband replies, "There's so many mushrooms around us right now that I've never even seen anything like this.” Behind the camera, Stefani immediately interrupted Shelton, saying that she doesn't want him to show her where the mushrooms are. "I want to find it myself," she told him.

'They're everywhere'

At first, Stefani claimed she wasn't sure if she would find any mushrooms, but soon she proved herself wrong. "Oh my gosh, Blake. They're everywhere!" she said before panning the camera to show several mushrooms sprouting out of the ground. The 'Hollaback Girl' singer first believed that the mushrooms were outgrown but Shelton said, "I think we got them just in time." "Eureka!" the couple cheered while picking some mushrooms to take back home. Concluding the video, Stefani shared an image of their haul and wrote, "Blake fried them😂🍄,"

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, never fails to shower each other with their immense love. In December 2022, the ‘God Gave Me You’ singer, who recently kicked off his final season on NBC's 'The Voice', spoke about how he and his wife enjoy downtime at home together. "Gwen and I have done so much traveling and touring and work the first half of our lives that now we're like, 'Hey, I'm good to put my sweatpants on at 6 pm and watch Ozark eight times,'" he told People, adding "That's our life now, and we love it."

'She's my best friend'

Shelton continued by claiming that spending time with his entire family at home in Oklahoma makes him the happiest. "We get away from everything [in LA], and we're just us. It truly does feel different. That's where I feel the most comfortable, happy, and safe,” he said. Previously, it was revealed that Shelton decided to step down from the judge's chair at ‘The Voice’ because he wanted to spend more time at home with Stefani and her three children, Kingston, 16, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9, according to Entertainment Tonight. Shelton also told People that he feels "settled" after being married to Stefani in July 2021. "The relationship that we have is so natural and so normal. This feels like the easiest thing I've ever been a part of," he said of marriage, adding, "To me, she's my best friend and everything that I need and lean on."
