LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA: The die-hard fans of 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' have been constantly speculating about the arcs that could be possibly included in Netflix's movie since the official announcement. While the entire fandom is batting and theorizing among themselves about the characters and plots they want, they are more specific about the arc they definitely do not want to see at any cost.

The 'Spade Kingdom' arc is something that the fans want to forget and do not want to be included in 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' at any cost. The fans consider the 'Spade Kingdom' arc to be messy and detrimental to Yuno's growth because it has the potential to turn him into a vengeful 'anti-hero'.

The issues with 'Spade Kingdom' arc

Some of the key issues that Redditors have pointed out with the 'Spade Kingdom' arc are its length, zero character development, no deeper reason behind the actions of the dark triad, the constant need for imposing transformation, and unreasonable level up for Asta even though this character does not yield any powers. Simply reducing his potential to using 100+ spells every time a member of the dark triad pops up, is tiring for the readers and the movie viewers alike.

The lack of interconnection between the sub-plots has also attributed to fans believing that this arc if included in the movie would only cause fans to detest it entirely. The film  'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' has the utmost potential with its creator Yuki Tabata suggesting that he may include the characters of three wizard kings in the manga.

Tabata wants to include 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' in manga

While Yuki Tabata has not succeeded in including multiple wizard kings' stories, he is pleased that Pierrot Studios followed his directions and took suggestions from him to include a deviating arc into the story. Fans believe that the inclusion of the previous wizard kings would make the story much better and would reduce the damage caused by the 'Spade Kingdom' arc. This particular arc did not have any proper conclusion and fans believe that it was not Tabata's best writing at display.

With Tabata claiming to include the designs, profiles, and characters of different wizard kings who will return in the movie, fans are expecting a whirlwind experience with the film. 'Black Clover' Sword of the Wizard King' will be available to stream on Netflix on June 16.
