Ozzy Osbourne has announced on March 5 that he will not be attending SXSW in Austin due to the coronavirus outbreak. The 'Ordinary Man' singer was scheduled to make an appearance at 2020's South by Southwest in support of the world-premiere screening of his documentary 'Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne'.

It is scheduled to premiere at the Austin Convention Center on March 14, with an encore screening at the Alamo Lamar theatre on March 17 to follow.

The two-hour, two-part feature explores the many lives and enduring career of the iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and is set to air on A&E this summer.

The documentary chronicles Osbourne's life from his childhood and time in prison, on to his famed days with Black Sabbath as the frontman as well as his highly successful solo career and his anointing as an iconic rock legend.

It even includes his reality show appearances on 'The Osbournes' where he became beloved as a 21st century TV dad, according to Billboard.

'Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne' also features interviews with the rockstar's family, Sharon (wife), Kelly (daughter) and Jack (son), and interviews with some of Osbourne's friends and fellow musician including Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Post Malone, Jonathan Davis, Rob Zombie and more.

Osbourne is not the only one to pull out of the conference due to the coronavirus. A list of participants including Netflix, Apple, Twitter, Facebook and Amazon Studios have pulled out. The news also follows the indefinite postponement of Osbourne's No More Tours 2 tour. The North American dates have been called off on February 17.

More celebrities have become coronavirus-aware and have opted out of tours and shows and it appears the list is growing, including Mariah Carey, Louis Tomlinson, Slipknot, Khalid, BTS, Green Day, Avril Lavigne and more, according to USA Today.
