Billie Eilish has won the 2021 Grammy Award for Record of the Year for 'Everything I Ever Wanted'. Eilish has won the award in this category for two consecutive years. She is the first soloist artist to achieve this since Roberta Flack. Fans were extremely pleased with her seventh Grammy win. She racked up five out of six last year, and two this year. The other one was for the category Song Written for Visual Media for 'No Time to Die'.

Record of the Year goes to the performer but recipients can include the singer, producers, engineers and other team members that created the recording. The award has previously gone to classics from Henri Mancini‘s 'Moon River' to Whitney Houston‘s 'I Will Always Love You' and Adele‘s 'Rolling in the Deep,' to name just a few.

"Not even disappointed that Billie Eilish won record of the year again. It’s refreshing honestly to see such a young person be so successful and not caught up in the super flashy pop star life," said one. "BILLIE EILISH HAS 7 GRAMMYS AT THE AGE OF 19 WHOS TOUCHING HER? ABSOLUTELY NO ONE," said another. A Twitter user said, "Top of her game. Congratulations to
@billieeilish on her two GRAMMY wins. #JUMPMAN"

'Just take your award and go'

Fans discussed Eilish's reaction after taking the award, when she dedicated her award to Megan Thee Stallion. "What Billie Eilish did at the end was childish... it’s like, pls just take your award and go. We really not about to make it a pity party for Megan. She’s fine. #Grammys," said one. "Tired of White woman being all talk and no action. If Billie Eilish didn’t feel she deserved that award, then don’t accept it and leave that shit on the stage. What is “I don’t deserve it but I’m taking it home anyway teehee, thanks!” gonna do for anyone??" said another.

'Doja, Dua, robbed'

Others were not so happy. "DUA AND DOJA WERE ROBBED," said a fan. While another said, "doja cat DESERVED IT MORE THEN BILLIE EILISH WHAT THE- yes ik shes 19 and SHES literally perfect but what the f**k???? Using doja cat for clout, lying about time and then even THIS- #dojacatdeserved #Scammys2021 @dojacat @RecordingAcad," while another added, "I respect billie but she didn’t deserve this."

"ok i love billie don’t get me wrong but doja DESERVED that she can’t just perform say so for 582394 times and not get anything," said another fan.
