American singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Big Sean, has given us her first music release for the new year, and it comes in the form of a new risque music video, the rather inappropriately titled 'P***y Fairy (OTW)'. The 31-year-old singer has also released a dance video that runs through the choreography for the sexy, mellow number.

This is 'The Worst' singer's latest release since dropping 'None of Your Concern', her break-up ballad with the Roc Nation rapper Big Sean in November 2019. This new song 'P***y Fairy (OTW)' will be appearing on Jhené's upcoming album that bears her surname 'Chilombo' - it is said to be released in February 2020. You can check out the official music video for the new song here - it's rather reminiscent of sexy '90s music videos, complete with sensuous bared midriffs, slick dance moves, and nightclub mood lighting.

According to Jhené, the song 'P***y Fairy (OTW)' is "in the key of D on the alchemy crystal sound bowl, which is the sacral chakra (sexual organs), hence why the song is about sex!”  This new release was also accompanied by a dance video that breaks down the choreography of the piece.

The official music video's naughty, retro imagery seems rather appropriate for Jhené, considering she first entered the spotlight back in the noughties. She initially started her music career by contributing guest vocals and appearing in a few music videos for the popular R&B boy band B2K, whose self-titled debut album hit No. 1 on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2002. For marketing reasons, Jhené was then portrayed as B2K member Lil' Fizz's cousin, although she was not actually related to him in any way.

Her debut album 'My Name Is Jhené' was slated to release the following year in 2003, but it never did get made, and she later left her Sony and Universal music labels in order to further her education. Jhené then made a comeback to music in 2011 with the mixtape  'Sailing Soul(s)' and was also signed to the producer No I.D.'s record label ARTium (distributed through Def Jam Records) that same year. Her debut EP 'Sail Out' was released in November 2013.

Earlier in 2013, Jhené had appeared on the hip-hop star Big Sean's single 'Beware', which featured a guest spot from Lil Wayne - that song helped catapult her to her first top 40 single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also started dating Big Sean in 2016, and the couple later amicably split up sometime in late 2018. Jhené has released two major-label albums since her 'Sail Out' EP, called 'Souled Out' in 2014 and 'Trip' in 2017. We're now awaiting more details on her upcoming third studio album in February. The first single off that forthcoming album, called 'Triggered (freestyle)' was released in May 2019 - check it out here if you haven't already.
