WASHINGTON DC, WASHINGTON: Fox News reporter Peter Doocy continues to get under President Joe Biden's skin.

Doocy, 35, whom Biden, 79, had called a "stupid son of a b****" in January for asking about inflation, posed a question to the commander-in-chief on the same topic Wednesday, October 19. The president snapped at the reporter after being asked which was a bigger priority for him in light of the upcoming midterms -- inflation or abortion. Doocy previously grabbed headlines when he asked Biden if inflation was a political liability for him, leaving the POTUS to mutter on a hot mic that the Fox News star was a "stupid son of a b****."

“Just hoping to clarify for midterm voters, top domestic issue: inflation or abortion?” Doocy asked Biden this time around. In response, the president grinned and said, “All important! Unlike you, there’s no one thing. It crosses the board... domestic... ask me about foreign policy, too.” He added, “There’s multiple, multiple, multiple issues and they’re all important and we ought to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Thank you."

In January, Biden complained during a press conference that all the questions were about the military buildup around Ukraine, after which Doocy asked him, "Will you take questions about inflation? Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?” Biden responded with the name-calling, thinking his microphone was off. “No, that’s a great asset. More inflation. What a stupid son of a b****," he replied.

Doocy was asked about the exchange in a Fox News segment. He explained that the president "didn’t want to take any questions off-topic. He was at an event about inflation. I asked about inflation. Now, wait to see if the White House has to bleep that on the transcript.” The remark was later included in the official White House transcript of the president’s remarks. During an appearance on 'Hannity', Doocy said Biden called him about an hour after the exchange and said, "It's nothing personal, pal." When asked if the president apologized, the reporter said, "He cleared the air, and I appreciate it. We had a nice call."

Doocy is notorious in Washington, DC for his combative approach to White House questioning, and has frequently pressed Biden and his aides about topics like inflation, immigration, and crime. Doocy laughed off the January incident, saying "nobody has fact-checked him yet and said it's not true."

In October 2021, Politico reported how the POTUS had a "potty mouth." A number of Biden's former and current aides told the outlet that his language is profane and that he drops the f-bomb rather frequently. They said he's known to use cuss words as in “F*** them”, “What the f*** are we doing?”, “Why the f*** isn’t this happening?”, “bulls***”, and “dammit." He is also known to say, “Don’t bulls*** a bullsh***er.” One White House official insisted, “When he gets going he definitely gets going." On the other hand, Biden often finds himself at the receiving end of foul language. Chants such as “F*** Joe Biden” and "Let's go Brandon" became popular in light of his administration's vaccine mandates, handling of the economy, and general dissatisfaction with the direction the US is headed in.
