Joe Biden loses it again, snaps at journo for questioning Hunter: 'You don't know what you're talking about'
Joe Biden does it again! The former vice president snapped at NBC News' Savannah Guthrie on Monday, February 3, after the 'Today' co-host ruffled his feathers by asking about his son Hunter's ties to Ukraine, according to a Fox News report.
Guthrie pointed out to Biden the "irony" of how President Donald Trump was accused of trying to get information about Hunter's business dealings with Ukraine that resulted in his impeachment, but the proceedings have backfired by putting the spotlight on Biden's son.
"That's a good thing and no one's found anything wrong with his dealings with Ukraine except, that say it's a bad image," Biden said. "Do you agree that it sets a bad image?" Guthrie asked. "Yeah," Biden replied. "And my son said that."
The former vice president was then asked if he felt it was wrong for Hunter to accept that position despite "knowing" that the company, in fact, wanted access to the 2020 presidential hopeful.
"Well, that's not true. You're saying things you do not know what you're talking about," Biden shot back. "No one said that. Who said that?" When Guthrie tried to reiterate his question, Biden again snapped at her asking, "Who said that?"
Hunter, despite having no relevant experience, obtained a highly lucrative board role at Burisma. Furthermore, he was kicked out of the Navy for cocaine possession. These instances gave the impression that he was selling influence to his father who was overseeing Ukraine policy during his time in the Obama administration.
However, Guthrie continued to question Biden. She pointed out that many felt it was "sleazy" that Hunter wouldn't have landed the high-profile gig without his father's influence. "He's a very bright guy," Biden replied.
Biden has regularly been scolding his critics in the lead up to the Iowa Caucuses. He came under fire as recently as last week after a video emerged of him telling a potential voter in Iowa to "go vote for someone else" when challenged on his energy policies.
Biden also snapped at Fox News' Peter Doocy back in November when asked a question about his son. "Only you would ask that," Biden said before sarcastically adding, "You're a good man. You're a good man. Classy."
