STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Queen Bey enthralled thousands of her fans at the Swedish capital of Stockholm as she launched her 'Renaissance' world tour on Wednesday, May 10. The glittering 'Renaissance' tour is Beyoncé's first solo tour since 2016, and her ongoing ninth concert trip named after her dance-oriented record album from 2022 drove the superstar to the top of the Grammy Awards' artist list as the ceremony's most recognized performer ever.

Queen Bey fans have been eagerly preparing for her comeback onstage since she confirmed the world tour in February. Images from the first leg show the hitmaker commanding the stage in glistening couture ensembles, accompanied by dancers dressed in matching outfits as seen on ABC News. The Friends Arena website states that the show will last three hours.

The 2023 world tour of the superstar has since been documented in photos and videos, providing a little taste of what those who were fortunate enough to attend experienced. Beyoncé's last solo tour, the Formation World Tour, took place in 2016, following the release of her sixth studio album, 'Lemonade.' In 2018, the hitmaker embarked on the 'On The Run Tour' alongside her husband, Jay-Z.

'There’s no other like her'

On Wednesday, May 10, the multimedia displays and animations grabbed the spotlight, much to the delight of fans who had recently lamented the absence of music videos for "Renaissance" hits. It was perplexing how quickly the decor and costume changes happened one after another. Twitter users shared their excitement over seeing the celebrity perform live at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. A fan wrote, "Im sorry but beyonce is definitely the best performer alive !!" Another fan wrote, "There’s no other like her." "I'm exhausted by just watching this performance. How does she keep up this kind of pace throughout an entire show? Amazing choreo," noted a fan. Another person said, "I wonder how much she take home a show." While comparing singers with Beyonce, a user said, "I think Queen B, Shakira and Jlo are the best performers rn BUT if we talk about Performing + vocal talent Queen B wins easily."

How much money will she take home?

According to Forbes, Beyonce might make up to $2.1 billion from her Renaissance concert series, based on positive estimates of the number of ticket sales and the presumption that an artist keeps 80% of proceeds. According to the publication, the tour could bring in anywhere between $275 million and $2.4 billion only from ticket sales, which have an average cost of roughly $700.

The superstar will travel to more than 40 locations, including London, Paris, Barcelona, and Toronto before putting her tour to an end in New Orleans on September 27.
