Belmont dominates Billboard charts with self-titled debut LP
Belmont is currently on a headline tour in support of their stellar album with direct support from NYC-based punk-rockers Such Gold, Southpaw, Intervention and Chief State.
Fast-rising Chicago pop-punk band Belmont had a big first week after the release of their new self-titled LP on Mutant League Records.
The band's debut full-length effort landed at #2 on Billboard's Heatseekers, #2 on the Alternative New Artist Albums, #14 Current Alternative Albums and #146 Billboard Top Albums charts.
Vocalst Taz Johnson says, "Thank you everyone for the support over the years, we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the love and dedication we receive from our all fans and friends. This is just the beginning of a long road ahead and we can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support."
The critically-lauded album was mixed and mastered by Dan Korneff (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore) and engineered by Jason Inguagiato at Graphic Nature Studio. Hailed by Rock Sound Magazine as "quite possibly the next great pop-punk band", Belmont spent the better part of the last two years racking up miles and amassing fans through constant touring with the likes of Have Mercy, Hot Mulligan, Capstan and more in support of their previous release 'Between You & Me'. The EP was celebrated by fans and critics alike, gaining millions of streams & views across digital music platforms.
