LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kate Chastain is all excited to become a mother for the first time. The reality star shared her pregnancy news on her Instagram page, with a cute picture flaunting her baby bump. "I am absolutely thrilled to become a mother. It's something I've always hoped for so this is truly a dream come true!" The star captioned the post, "I'm already planning so many birthday theme parties for you," while posing for a selfie in front of a mirror in a blue dress with white florals.

The 39-year-old made her last public appearance in October at BravoCon 2022, the red carper event. Chastain hosted several multiple panels from the BravoTV.com digital stage in New York City.

Chastain is well-known for playing a staple on Bravo's 'Below Deck' for six straight seasons before she quit the show in February 2020. She then took over the role of executive producer and hosts Bravo's 'Chat Room', which is a regular on the network's series 'Below Deck Galley Talk'. The popular star is also among the contestants in Peacock's upcoming reality competition series, 'The Traitors'. Well, it was these two shows that made her come out and make news of her pregnancy public. "This is such a new and special experience, so I'm really being protective of what I share publicly, but with new episodes of Below Deck Galley Talk about to air on Bravo after Christmas and The Traitors premiering on Peacock on Jan. 12, 2023, there's just no hiding my baby bump any longer!"

Chastain was celebrated for her no-nonsense management style, dry sense of humor, and self-described 'resting bitch face', coming up with awesome theme parties with precise planning and execution skills since debuting 'Below Deck' in August 2014. The show became so popular among fans that it played a catalyst for other franchise’s extension shows, such as 'Below Deck: Mediterranean' (which premiered in 2016), 'Below Deck: Sailing Yacht' (which debuted in February 2020), 'Below Deck Down Under' (which premiered this March), and 'Below Deck Adventure' (which just premiered last month), according to People.

Chastain’s latest series, ‘The Traitors’, is based on a popular Dutch series of the same name, where 20 contestants hustle with the aim to earn a cash prize. The interesting part is three of the contestants are ‘traitors’, with the sole purpose to sabotage the rest of the group. The other contestants for ‘The Traitors’ include costar Bravolebrities Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Kyle Cooke (Summer House), and Reza Farahan (Shahs of Sunset). Moreover, Olympian Ryan Lochte, former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr., Big Brother winners Cody Calafiore and Rachel Reilly, and Survivor alums Cirie Fields and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick are among others.

It will also have 10, non-celebrity contestants, whereas the show will be hosted by Alan Cumming, premiering on Peacock on January 12, 2023.
