'Below Deck': Will Jenna lose her job because of Adam's tantrums and verbal abuse?
Who could have thought a bunch of wildflowers had the power to shake the core of a relationship. Adam Glick and Jenna MacGillivray's relationship wilted like flowers unders the sun and from the looks of it, it will be a while before everything gets back to normal.
In today's episode of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht,' Adam gave Jenna the silent treatment. He has been angry with her ever since she couldn't give him the reaction he had expected when he gifted her the wildflowers he had gone hunting for earlier in the day.
He had made his displeasure known and was quite vocal (read abusive) about it. But, like most mornings, didn't hug it out and moved past it. One could see, he was put off for real and was in no mood to settle the emotional unrest between them.
When the vendors arrived to deliver the produce, Adam threw a tantrum. He yelled and said he never wanted frozen tuna. The chef sifted through the rest of the items and left without picking any because they weren't up to the mark. Byron Hissey who was at the deck saw the meltdown and said Adam had gone "fruit loop crazy."
But, Jenna wasn't ready to give up yet. She wrote him a bunch of love letters and may have thought it would be a warm gesture and something they could probably start a conversation with. But, he didn't pay much heed to the notes. He picked one of them and put them on the counter behind the stove. Did he read them secretly when Jenna was gone?
This cold behavior had Jenna worried. And obviously, when personal relationships start to malfunction, it's tough to focus on work.
In next week's episode, we see captain Glenn Shephard commenting on how the service has gone down a bit and later asks to sit for a chat with Jenna separately. Is her job on the line? With the experience Jenna brings to the crew, Glenn won't show her the exit but she may get an earful for not setting an example.
