Bella Hadid, who had shared a series of snaps from the campaign with her 56.4 million Instagram followers, has since deleted the post. The 26-year-old supermodel deleted the post right after the fashion label apologized for their "bondage"-themed campaign that included a child. The upscale clothing brand released a statement on November 23 over the photo shoot that showed a young child holding a teddy bear dressed in BDSM gear. Balenciaga reportedly made it look as though the controversial campaign was the fault of Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti.

One fan who praised Hadid for taking down the post tweeted, "Bella Hadid deleted her Balenciaga campaign on IG after enormous pushback. Turning tables. Our outrage matters. If the innocence of children isn't worth fighting for, nothing is."
