Is Bebe Rexha collaborating with Doja Cat? Fans say they 'need it bad' as singer teases new music

It’s been a while since American artist Bebe Rexha dropped new music, but there is some good news for the loyal fans of the singer-songwriter as she has revealed that she will be announcing something special real soon. The 31-year-old crooner took to her official Twitter account to drop the big news.

The ‘I Can’t Stop Drinking About You’ hitmaker posted her photo where she can be seen posing for the camera in a sultry look. The singer also teased new music announcement while donning red hair, which led to the speculations among her fan base wondering if Rexha is collaborating with singer-songwriter Doja Cat. She tweeted, "I got a special announcement tomorrow. #BR2." She also posted the same photo on her Instagram account for her 10.3M followers with the same caption.



 

The new announcement got the fans excited on social media. One Instagram user said, “I am so excited, I honestly don't know what to do with myself.” Another fan said, “Serve queen!” One fan said, “hopefully she adds selena on it so it can go diamond.” A lot of her fans also took to Twitter to share their excitement. One user said, “It is something about Demi collab? We need and another powerful anthem, please make a collab with her.” One Twitterati asserted, “Baby I'm Jealous features Doja Cat not Demi Lovato.” 

One user added, “bebe rexha is releasing a song with doja cat, they were spotted filming the mv together, seeing lots of ppl jump to conclusions for a txt collab, which ain’t happening (yet?)!” One social media user stated, “Bebe Rexha is coming! She’s releasing her first single for her upcoming record next month- the Doja Cat collab that I’m SURE you’re aware of! The album is scheduled for release early 2021, I’m excited!” One user said, “Yesss I need that collab sooooo bad.”



 



 



 



 



 

According to Daily Mail, fans have been guessing about Rexha’s collaboration with Doja Cat after both the singers were spotted at a filming location of a music video back in September in Los Angeles.

It has been reported that Rexha’s new song will be called ‘Baby I am Jealous’ as the song appears on Apple Music with a release date of October 9, 2020.  Also, the new pic which Rexha shared on Twitter and Instagram solidifies the hint to some extent as we can spot the singer donning a silver chain which reads ‘JEALOUS'.
