LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Last week’s episode of ‘Barry’ ended on a surprising note and we saw the hitman moving forward in life. The show took a time-jump and showed that Barry is now living with Sally and they have a son together. The ending proved that the couple has moved on from their past lives and is trying to build a new world for themselves. However, it’s ‘Barry’ and nothing stays good here for a very long time. This week’s episode is all about Barry (Bill Hader) being a family man and trying to tell his son how the world works and things he shouldn’t do.

In Episode 5 of the HBO series, Barry makes his son, John, apologize for hitting the neighbor’s kid while playing. The neighbor finds it really weird that Barry doesn’t allow his son to play any video games. John apologizes to his friend and asks him to start playing again. However, given John’s violent reaction, Travis’ father doesn’t allow him to play with him. Elsewhere, Sally (Sarah Goldberg) is getting ready to go to work as she has started working as a waitress and a cashier at a nearby diner. They are a religious couple now and watch the minister reading the bible in a video.

Gene Cousineau is BACK and ready to make things worse

On the other hand, Gene Cousineau has finally come out of hiding and visits the office of Warner Bros. with a proposal. But it seems people refuse to recognize him because he was reported missing for nearly eight years and presumed dead. The executive is forced to listen to Cousineau, who claims that he has important information.

In the final moments of the episode, we see Sally watching a TV show on her laptop and while watching the show, she gets a notification about Barry. Sally understood that this alert seems to be indicating Barry’s past and as soon as she clicks on it, her world turns upside down. Barry hears Sally shrieking and runs to the living room. The episode ends with Barry getting the information that Cousineau has returned and he is now making a movie about Barry’s life with Warner Bros. The article also noted that Cousineau will serve as a consultant on the recently announced film and all the other details have been kept under wraps. Barry and Sally are shocked with this information and they have a good reason to be scared. If the movie gets made, everything will come out in public.

Will Barry return to his criminal life?

Everything about Barry’s past, including his crimes, will come out and ruin their lives. John, who thinks that his father is a hero, will be broken if he ever gets to know that his father was a hitman and killed many people.

Barry has now made the decision of killing Cousineau and ending this forever, meaning he would have to go back to doing what he did in the past: hurt people.
