Bad Bunny performs live in New York City from a motorcade, fans call it a 'damn rollercoaster'

Bad Bunny's livestream concert for Uforia is officially here! For those who don't know, Uforia is the radio broadcasting/music events arm of Univision.

The concert, which began streaming on official Uforia handles across social media featured the 26-year-old 'Yo Perreo Sola' hit-maker performing chart-topping hits and was organised as a partnership between Uforis and telecommunication giant Verizon.



 

Fans of the Latin pop-star took to Twitter reacting to the concert that rolled through the streets of New York City. One Bad Bunny fan, talking about his favorite song coming on, tweeted, "It was literally all fun and games till Bad Bunny sang LA CANCIÓN," while another pumped-up fan said, "Bad Bunny’s concert really does get the serotonin flowing." A different fan of Bunny, talking praising his performance, wrote, "Bad Bunny sends you through a damn rollercoaster: desgraciado, goodbye, I deserve better, just kidding...... I miss you...... no, but seriously I have to cut you off. Bye. Issss okay."



 



 



 

Sharing a meme about the situation, a fan jokingly said, "The only man I’m ever gonna chase is Bad Bunny on that bus," while another, criticising the commentary during the show, wrote, "The commentators need to stop interrupting bad bunny I’m just trying to vibe." Another fan, pointing out how cool the pop-star's motorcade was, tweeted along with a video of the event, "Saw bad bunny’s motorcade roll through West Harlem and honestly nothing but respect for my president."



 



 



 

Another fan shared a live video from the event of the performance of the song 'La Santa' and wrote, "Bad Bunny: La Santa my fave song."



 

In a press release for live-streamed concert, Jesus Lara, Univision's President of Radio, said, "We are extremely excited to celebrate the richness of Latinx culture during Hispanic Heritage Month with this one-of-a-kind live streaming experience, and also commemorate the Puerto Rico community’s resilience on the third anniversary of Hurricane Maria, in partnership with Verizon. We are proud to showcase the artistry of Bad Bunny who has had such a profound impact on our culture and the music industry at large". 

This is the first in a series of livestreams being organised by Uforia once every month till the end of 2020. Artists and dates for future live-streams will be announced in the coming weeks.

On the music side, Bad Bunny's most recent album, 'Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana' debuted #2 on the Billboard 200 after releasing on February 29. The pop-star, a little over two months later, surprised fans with a second album titled 'Las Que No Iban a Salir' consisting of outtakes from 'Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana' and was completed while Bunny was quarantining in his home country Puerto Rico.
