'B Positive': Meet Annaleigh Ashford, Thomas Middleditch, Terrence Terrell and rest of the cast of CBS sitcom

The comedy follows recently divorced therapist Drew (Thomas Middleditch) who needs a kidney donor and old high school classmate Gina (Annaleigh Ashford) impulsively volunteers to donate hers

'B Positive' is an upcoming CBS comedy where Marco Pennette serves as a writer and Chuck Lorre and Marco Pennette serve as executive producers. It follows a man named Drew (Thomas Middleditch) who is a therapist that finds out that he is in renal failure and needs a kidney. Lucky for him he ends up running into Gina (Annaleigh Ashford), a classmate from high school who volunteers to donate her kidney. Here is the comedic cast bringing the sitcom to your small screens. As for the title, Drew has B-positive blood!

Ashford is known for her roles in 'Masters of Sex', 'American Crime Story' (2018-2021), and 'Unicorn Store' (2017). She currently has a release titled 'Smart Blonde' that is in pre-production. Her recent works include 'Unbelievable' (2019), 'Evil' (2019), and 'The Good Fight' (2020). The actress won a Clarence Derwent Award for Best Supporting Female in 2013, and in 2018 she was nominated, for Ensemble of the Year along with her castmates for 'American Crime Story'.

Middleditch is known for his works such as 'The Final Girls' (2015), 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' (2019), 'The Wolf of Wall Street' (2013) and 'The Kings of Summer' (2013). The actor was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for 'Silicon Valley' where he played the role of Richard Hendricks. He also won a Satellite Award in 2018 for Best Actor in a Series, Comedy or Musica for the same production.

Terrell is known for his roles as Kwasi in 'Giants' (2018), Gabriel Lewis in 'Criminal Minds' (2016), and Time 'The Titan' Teslow in 'Batwoman' (2020). His recent works include 'Black-ish' (2019), 'The First Wives Club' (2019), 'Bigger' (2019), 'Bosch' (2020), 'Junebug' (2020) and 'Room 104' (2020). In 2019, not only was the actor nominated for an Indie Series Award for Best Supporting Actor - Drama for Giants along with Cheif WaKil, but he was also awarded a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for the same production.

Donohue is known for her roles as Lindsay Jillian in 'You're the Worst' (2014-2019), Kiki Benjamin in 'Tokoyo Mew Mew' (2002), Alice in 'Pitch Perfect' (2012) and Donna in 'The Bay' (2012). Her most recent works include 'American Dad!' (2019), 'You' (2019), 'Happy Accident' (2019), 'Royalties' (2020), 'Elena of Avalor' (2019-2020), and 'Star Trek: Lower Decks' (2020). She has a release titled 'PinkCity' in post-production. In 2016, the actress was nominated for a Critics' Choice TV Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for 'You're the Worst'.

Rue is known for her roles as Martha in 'Pearl Harbor' (2001), Violet in 'A Slipping-Down Life' (1999), Elizabeth Barrett in 'My Future Boyfriend' (2011), and Earth Girl in 'Can't Hardly Wait' (1998). Her recent roles include 'Drunk History' (2019), 'True Love Blooms' (2019), 'The Bridge' (2019), 'The Rookie' (2018-2019), 'American Housewife' (2017-2020), 'Film Fest' (2020) and 'Prism'. The actress won a Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Indianapolis International Film Festival for A Slipping-Down Life which she shared with Lili Taylor. She was also awarded the Comedic Actress Award at the 2013 LA Femme International Film Festival.

The rest of the cast includes Justin Baker as Brian, Adam Chambers as Paul, Kenny Cooper as Matt, Izzy G. as Maddie, Andy Mackenzie as Don, Mason McCulley as Monty, Megan McNulty as Barb, Eliza Shin as a nurse, Darryl Stephens and many more.

The synopsis reads, "Recently divorced therapist Drew (Thomas Middleditch) is in need of a kidney donor when he runs into old high school classmate Gina (Annaleigh Ashford), who impulsively volunteers to donate hers in this Chuck Lorre and Marco Pennette comedy."
