Despite the leaks, Marvel faithful continue to eagerly wait for the 'Avengers: Doomsday' teaser trailer. While the new footage is expected to be released during the debut of 'Avatar: Fire and Ash', the Russo Brothers decided to surprise fans as they wait for the trailer. The duo took to their social media earlier and released a countdown video of the film's release next year.

Captioned, '1 year...', the clip begins with a clapperboard from the film, followed by a glitch revealing the message, 'DOOMSDAY'. The clip comes amid the recent leaks, with the first of the four teasers seemingly released early in some cinemas. Earlier, the trailer of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' did the rounds and was quickly removed from the internet.

The 'Doomsday' teaser attached to release with 'Fire and Ash' reportedly features Chris Evans' Steve Rogers/Captain America returning home to Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and cradling his newborn. The teaser ends with a message, "Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday.' The remaining three trailers supposedly focus on Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, and the movie, respectively.

Earlier, Evans had shed light on missing out on 'Doomsday', but that appears to have changed. “I mean, it’s sad to be away. It’s sad to not be back with the band,” he told ScreenRant.  "But I’m sure they’re doing something incredible, and I’m sure it’s going to be that much harder when it comes out, and you feel like you weren’t invited to the party."

'Doomsday' is set to release on December 18, 2026. As shown by March's ultra-long livestream, the full cast is packed with marquee names. It includes legacy MCU stars, post-Endgame names, plus X-Men, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four actors, making it one of the most-awaited movies next year. The 'Thunderbolts' post-credits scene even set up 'Doomsday' with its reveal that the Fantastic Four ship had entered Earth-616's reality for reasons unknown. Downey's Doctor Doom also appeared in the post-credits scene next to Franklin Richards in 'Fantastic Four', though his face was not shown.

For now, the wait for the trailer continues, even if the leaks have unfortunately spoiled the excitement for most fans.
