'This Scanner Feeder is intense'
One of the users in the reddit discussion claimed, "This scanner feed is intense. People calling in that they're hearing shots and seeing a guy walking around with an AR." Another noted, "Some of them could be false calls. I've heard a couple times now dispatcher said someone reported shots fired, but an officer in the area heard nothing." In the Uvalde school shooting incident that happened on May 24, 2022, the cops were slammed for their slow response to the incident which saw 22 students death, but in the case of the Michigan State University shootings, the police are being lauded for their quick response as on Reddit user said,"From what im hearing on the scanner these are all the cops that didn't go the ''Uvalde school of school shootings. They seem very aggressive in clearing the campus." Another claimed, "Heard on the scanner one guy called in that his son was in the basement and you could hear shots and screams. F**g horrific." "Michigander here. The police scanner live feed is absolutely insane. 212,931 people listening in. Stay safe everyone," said a user. Another comment read, "Listening to scanner, they keep getting reports of a man in a black hoodie with a long gun running. Extremely scary he’s still at large and could kill more. Edit: just heard there is a second male in a white shirt with an AR walking a hallway somewhere, could be someone trying to take down the active shooter or protect his hallway, stupid if so but if not that means two shooters. Or he ditched his hoodie."
