Ashley Graham finally responds to super awkward Hugh Grant interview at Oscars
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ashley Graham maintained her poise as she reacts to the controversy created during the now-infamous interview with Hugh Grant during the Academy Awards. The supermodel who was entrusted with interviewing the ‘Four Weddings & A Funeral’ star, was met with deadpan replies which pushed the internet to call it “the most awkward interview possible."
Graham, 34, could be seen speaking about the incident as she was at LAX the morning after the 95th Oscars. Breaking her silence about the excruciating interview, Graham said, "You know what, my mama told me to kill people with kindness," before the model could be seen entering the airport. She however added she still had "such a good time interviewing the other stars," as per TMZ.

What was the awkward Oscars interview all about?
It all started when Grant replied to being questioned about his favorite thing regarding the Oscars. The actor replied after a long pause, “It’s fascinating … the whole of humanity is here … it’s Vanity Fair,” probably referring to William Makepeace Thackeray's novel ‘Vanity Fair’.
Drama ensued when the supermodel-turned-interviewer asked the ‘Glass Onion’ star, “What was it like to be in Glass Onion? How fun is it to shoot something like that?” She was replied to in a curt manner as Hugh said, “Well I'm barely in it, I was in it for about three seconds."
Ashley in a characteristic vivacious manner quipped, “It still must have been fun though, you had fun right?” The ‘Notting Hill’ actor, making it more excruciating, replied tersely, “Erm... almost,” while looking away. Making a last attempt to carry on with the one-sided interview, the beauty asked, “What are you wearing?” to which Grant’s brusque reply was “My suit."
‘World's worst d*****bag’
The awkward interview not only elicited heated reactions from the viewers watching from home, but also from the people in the media. Following the awkward interview, fiery British broadcaster and journalist, Piers Morgan, took to his show to scathingly criticize the actor who was being termed “obnoxious for surly red-carpet interview." The celebrity journalist called the condemned actor “a complete d*****bag” and asked, "If you don’t want to speak to the media, why the hell walk down the longest red carpet in show business?" Lending his support to the journalist fraternity in general and the ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ plus-size model in particular, the TalkTV presenter said, “What you don’t do is humiliate and pick on a young interviewer just trying to do her job."
'It wasn't the best interview'
Internet got divided in the opinions regarding the incident bringing the eternal discussion regarding different personalities to the fore. One user commented, "Honestly i watched this ready to hate on him for being rude to Ashley but couldn’t really find the rudeness, i feel like people blew this out of proportion… this wasn’t supposed to be a detailed/long interview + British ppl are kinda like that and Americans misunderstand them." Another user commented, "You guys are so sensitive . Anyone who is familiar with Hugh Grant knows these are the worst questions to ask him lol. Know your subject, or pass on interviewing them. The third user quipped in, "Everyone is so sensitive; he wasn’t rude, he was British."

However, social media were also flooded with comments supporting Graham for handling the interview in a mature way. "Ashley handled that perfectly, I don’t think I could’ve kept it moving like she did," commented a fan. "It's all Hugh Grant's fault, not the interviewer's at all... It wasn't the best interview...," said another.
