Despite the global pandemic, musicians are innovating new ways to perform for their fans. The latest addition to this list is renowned hip-hop artiste A$AP Ferg who will be performing songs from his brand new mixtape 'Floor Seats II'. The rapper, who recently reached #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 with the hit single 'Move Ya Hips' featuring Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO, will perform live from Los Angeles.

This will be the first-ever live performance of songs from 'Floor Seats II'. Here's all you need to know about it.

Time and Date

Ferg's performance of 'Floor Seats II' will be broadcast live on Thursday, October 22, at 6 pm PST, 9 pm EST and 2am + 1 day BST.

How and where to watch?

Ferg's first live performance of 'Floor Seats II' will premiere on MelodyVR — a platform that brings fans closer to their favorite artistes. The show – which is part of MelodyVR's 'Live from LA' series – can be enjoyed for free on the MelodyVR app.

The interesting thing about the broadcast is that fans will be able to watch the performance not only on their smartphones but also on VR headsets. Though a VR headset is not required to take part in the show, the option of using one provides an immersive experience. The show can be watched worldwide for free using the MelodyVR app which is available on all mobile app stores.

Track-list

Ferg will be performing the following tracks off from 'Floor Seats II':

2. 'Dennis Rodman'
3. 'In It'
4. 'No Ceilings'
5. 'Move Ya Hips'
6. 'Value'

Talking about the upcoming performance, Ferg said, "This is the first performance I have done since the pandemic started, and I will be performing 'Floor Seats II' live for the first time ever. My concert with MelodyVR is allowing me to get super close with my fans – I get to talk to them and walk them through each song – that’s why this is different than any other performance. I am bringing the club to your living room or kitchen – I want to see you turn up in the kitchen!"

Ferg released 'Floor Seats II' on September 25, 2020. After its release, 'Move Ya Hips' became Ferg's highest charting single ever. 'Floor Seats II' follows 2019's 'Floor Seats' taking Ferg's basketball concept to a new level. NBA stars Jaylen Brown, Damian Lillard and JaVale McGee feature on the mixtape demonstrating the powerful relationship between basketball and hip-hop. Other album guests include Diddy, Marilyn Manson, Tyga, Mulatto, Lil Wayne, Jay Gwuapo, Antha Pantha, Nicki Minaj, MadeinTYO and Fivio Foreign.
