Hip-hop star A$AP Ferg recently posted a picture on social media that showed him talking to Lil Tunechi aka the celebrated rapper Lil Wayne. The new Instagram post of the two stars, which appears to be a screenshot of a video call they were having, prompted some fans to speculate that we might have a new collaboration coming from these two singers. Asap Ferg and Lil Wayne have worked together in the past, collaborating with the New York-based artiste Smoove'L on the track, 'Ceilings', which still hasn't been officially released. However, a leaked version of the song 'Ceilings' did surface online on May 14 this year, after it was previewed by Asap Ferg on May 11, a few days prior. You can listen to the leaked version of that drill-themed song here, which features production by AXL. The song's lyrics talk about how these stars are proclaiming that they are the winners, roll with the hitters like gorillas, and have no ceilings or limits to what they can do.

Since 'Ceilings' is technically already out, fans were questioning if we might even be seeing a brand-new track from the famous duo, who are both considered legends in their field. One fan queried, "We're getting a song?!" and another expectant follower posted, "Y’all looking good brothers, can’t wait!"

Another fan queried, "Y'all's working on a hit🔥 or wah?" so speculation was clearly mounting among supporters that something new might be dropping soon. Other fans were also begging Ferg to release his collaboration with Nicki Minaj, called 'Move Ya Hips', which had similarly been previewed online as a snippet back in May. However, even that unreleased track, which features the talents of Ferg, Nicki Minaj, DJ Clue, and MadeinTYO still hasn't seen the light of day.

Other followers were saying, "That record y’all got together is crazy bro! Can’t wait til u drop it!!!" Another fan implored, "Other ok but is it a song coming cuz? 😭😭😭" Another Nicki Minaj fan quipped, "I hope Lil Wayne is telling you to drop MYH [Move Ya Hips] 😏" Another admirer even implored Ferg, "Please put Lil Wayne on Move Ya Hips and drop it soon!" Plenty more Barbz (Nicki Minaj's fanbase) were begging for the hotly anticipated 'Move Ya Hips' track to drop, so it looks like Ferg might have to give the fans what they are asking for, since the demand is sky-high at the moment!
