Ariana Madix faked leaving house shared with ex Tom Sandoval, Finserv firm claims it was SponCon 'stunt'
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Madix, who is best known for her role on 'Vanderpump Rules', has acknowledged deceiving her Instagram followers by pretending to leave the Los Angeles house she shares with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval. The 37-year-old reality TV personality made it clear through her Instagram Story that the action was related to a sponsored brand agreement.
Despite the fact that the couple broke up in March, they have been living together in the house for the past few months. On Monday, Madix posted a video outside her house, standing alongside packed cardboard boxes, and captioned it with the words, "Ready to dip out." Photographs also captured her loading the boxes into a moving truck parked outside the residence.

'I’m moving up not out, well not yet at least'
A few hours later, she posted another video explaining that the entire stunt had been staged as part of a promotional engagement with a business. Madix clarified that her current priority was organizing her finances while making a hint about impending disclosures about her financial journey. “I’m moving up not out, well not yet at least,” the reality star teased. “It’s time to get my financial house in order. I will have more to share with you very, very soon.”
Financial services company SoFi confirmed to People that the move was indeed a "stunt," shedding light on the orchestrated nature of the event. Additionally, Madix's agent told the publication that she continues to live with Sandoval at the same house. The pair split in March after nine years as 'Vanderpump Rules' co-star Raquel Leviss, who also happened to be Madix's close friend, had an affair with Sandoval.
'I would like to sell that house and move somewhere'
Madix has already stated that she intends to sell the house that has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. Madix and Sandoval bought the house in 2019 and called it their "forever home", but at present, they have different plans for their house. "I've been on the phone with a real estate agent," she said before adding "And I would like to sell that house and move somewhere, own my own place on my own, and start my new life," she said in an interview on Today. This sentiment was echoed during an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live', where Madix shared her plan to sell the house and move forward with her life independently. "My plan is to sell the house. I want my money out of that house as quickly as possible and I want to move on," said Madix.
'Tom and Ariana are still living in the same home'
While Madix and Sandoval still live together, she confirmed that they interact very little and rely on middlemen to facilitate their essential communication. While they work through the difficulties of their split and make choices about their shared property, they will continue to live together temporarily. A source told People in March, "Right now, Tom and Ariana are still living in the same home, but sleeping in separate rooms. There's a lot to figure out with their living situation but no plans have been made yet."
