The music video of the single 'Positions' depicts Ariana as the President of the United States of America. She is seen fulfiling various presidential and domestic tasks, like overseeing a cabinet meeting while signing executive orders in the Oval Office, and giving a medal to postal workers (a response to the 2020 United States Postal Service crisis). She's also seen walking dogs on the South Lawn, and preparing food in a White House kitchen.

The music video features cameos from frequent collaborators Tayla Parx and Victoria Monét, as well as Ariana's mother, Joan Grande. Many critics noted a connection between the video's theme and the final United States presidential debate of 2020 (which took place hours before the release of the video). It has been directed by Dave Meyers (who's directed music videos of 'Laugh Now Cry Later' by Drake featuring Lil Durk, 'Falling' by Harry Styles, and 'Highest in the Room' by Travis Scott, among many others). The video received over one million views on YouTube within an hour of its release. The album will include guest appearances from Doja Cat, The Weeknd and Ty Dolla $ign.

Where to stream?

'Positions' will be available to stream worldwide on all major music streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Pandora, Tidal, YouTube Music and Amazon Music.
