To further tease her fans, she did not give any caption to her Instagram post but if you look closely in the video, you can notice Ariana typing the word ‘Positions’ into the keyboard which might be the name of her new album or maybe a single from her new project.
On September 15, 2020, Ariana had first teased her fans about her new album when she posted a 5-second video snippet where we can see a song being played on a screen that everyone assumed will be one of the new tracks from the album. She had simply captioned the tweet as, “brb”
Apart from her Instagram post, ‘The Way’ hitmaker also shared an Instagram story of a countdown which says “5 Days” and “12 Days” to which we are assuming that she might release the first single from her new record in the next five days and most probably her full album after 12 days. There are no other official details of the release date. What we are sure about is that her upcoming project will surely drop in the month of October, as one of her earlier tweets also confirmed where she said, “I can’t wait to give u my album this month.”
The new untitled project will be a follow-up to her 2019 album ‘Thank U, Next’ and before that she had released her album ‘Sweetener’ in 2018.
Her 2019 album ‘Thank U, Next’ was based on her relationship and subsequent break-up with then boyfriend Pete Davidson. Ariana had also tweeted about a week ago about her new album where we could spot a few instruments in the background of the photo she posted. The American crooner captioned the tweet as, “Turning in these mixes and reminding u again to register to vote if u haven’t already / to vote early”
