After teasing fans about her new album for weeks on her Instagram stories and video snippets on Twitter, Ariana Grande has finally dropped the lead single titled 'Positions' along with a video from her upcoming sixth album. The 27-year-old pop sensation took to her official Twitter account to share a snippet from the song and captioned it as, "positions out now directed by dave meyers."

In the video directed by Dave Meyers, we can see Ariana playing the role of the President of the United States and then we also find her baking in the kitchen and singing in the bedroom referring to her different roles and positions in life.

The lyrics of the song go: “Boy, I'm tryna meet your mama on a Sunday, And make a lotta love on a Monday/ Never need no, no, no one else, babe, ’Cause I'll be/ Switching my positions for you, Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in your bedroom/ I'm in the Olympics way, I'm jumping through hoops/ Know my love infinite, nothing I wouldn’t do/ That I wouldn’t do, switching for you.”

As soon as the song dropped on the Internet, the singer’s fans stormed Twitter to express their joy. One fan tweeted, “UR INSANE FOR THIS.” Another fan referring to the music video of the song said, “are we not gonna talk abt how generally good of a president ari would be?”

One user added, “positions isn’t just a song, it’s a cultural reset, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled with thieves. It’s art, the first gift you open on Xmas, a hug from a loved one, everything you’ve ever wanted, everything you need.” Another user added, “why are all the singers getting political all of a sudden? first, demi lovato.. now, ariana grande.”
